Position: Project Manager for Run with Saints

Mission: The mission of the Ortner Family Foundation is to serve the Catholic Church, the renewal of Catholic liberal education, and other endeavors that lead to human flourishing. The intersection of two or even all three of these areas is ideal. We have a preference for new or entrepreneurial initiatives. The Foundation operates two websites: Run With Saints and Catholic School Playbook.
Run With Saints is a platform that helps high school juniors and seniors to better understand the Catholic community at the colleges and universities they are considering attending. The site collects and shares reviews from current college students and recent college graduates. The primary goal of the site is to help students decide where to attend college and to identify groups and professors to seek out once they arrive on campus. A secondary goal is to inspire colleges and universities to better support their Catholic students.
Catholic School Playbook is an online resource designed to help anyone interested in strengthening Catholic schools, including school leaders, pastors, superintendents, teachers, and parents. Compiled from interviews with leaders of thriving Catholic schools across the country, the Playbook shares best practices in all areas, including mission, teacher training, admissions, and fundraising. The full text of the Playbook can be read online or downloaded to be read offline. The site features a popular blog that explores topics of interest to Catholic educators and parents.
